Tulsa Police said a crime victim ended up in jail for public intoxication and obstructing an officer early Monday. Officers said they were called to the Royal Inn Hotel at 2200 West Skelly Drive around 6 a.m. after a robbery was reported.

They found two "extremely intoxicated" victims who said they met the suspects to purchase some drugs. Instead, the suspect pulled out a metal bar, choked one of the intoxicated men and stole his money.

"Victims provided officers with several different versions of the incident," according to police. They didn't have a good description of the suspect or his car, other than that it was maroon.
