New Tulsa Park Dedicated

Tulsa leaders celebrated the dedication of a new park near Hillcrest Medical Center on Thursday.

Forrest Orchard Park is located near 11th and Utica.  The park provides a green space and a playground for families of the Forrest Orchard neighborhood.

Mayor GT Bynum was on hand for the dedication along with several hospital leaders.
"This is a great example of Hillcrest Hospital existing in this neighborhood but thinking how could we help the neighborhood that surrounds our hospital and bringing forth the notion of doing a park like this," said Mayor GT Bynum.

The name of the park was chosen by a vote through social media.
