Sapulpa residents gathered to support their teachers Thursday evening.
The group walked through downtown, ending at the Sapulpa Ball Park for a balloon release.
Organizers say as a possible statewide school shutdown gets closer, it's more important than ever to stand behind educators.
"I think people just support teachers, whatever way you can. This is a way we can and any way that anybody can. Support your teachers," said organizer Mandy Denison.
Owners of the Able Nation clothing store sold t-shirts at the march and will donate the profits to support teachers.
