A man said he is heartbroken after thieves stole a box full of memories from his Bartlesville home.
He said he just wants the priceless possessions back.
Devin Shoonech said he came home Saturday afternoon to find his door kicked in, and his house ransacked.
Shoonech said his sister drove past his house early Saturday morning and knew something was wrong when she saw the door open.
Shoonech had been out of town for a week.
He said when he came home, he noticed someone had rummaged through all of his things.
The thieves stole a TV, a speaker, and an air conditioner, but the most important item that was taken was a memory box full of things from his father.
Shoonech said his dad died of cancer when he was just 12 years old, so the memories are irreplaceable.
"I got scared at one point I thought I was forgetting about him. So, I put all that stuff in there that way if I needed to, I could go look in that box and remember," he said.
Devin said police are still searching for the thieves. If you know anything about this crime contact Bartlesville Police.
