The Tulsa Police Department is helping keep motorcyclists safe.
The departments held a Share The Road Motorcycle Survival Course Saturday, March 10th. The class was the first of seven to be held this year.
Riders learned all the ins and outs of riding a motorcycle - from the basics to the more advanced skills.
Police said the course can help save lives.
"Riding a motorcycle is very complex, a lot of stuff going on – clutch, brake, throttle, traffic around ya. It’s also a diminishing skill, so if you don't keep up with it you are going to lose some of your skills," Sergeant Ross Williams said.
A list of the dates for the Share The Road Motorcycle Survival classes can be found the Tulsa Police Department's website.
