Jury Recommends 100-Year Sentence For Man Convicted In Molestation Case

A jury says a man found guilty of molesting a relative should spend the rest of his life behind bars.

A Muskogee County jury recommended a 100-year sentence for John Upchurch.

The district attorney’s office says the child testified that Upchuch also beat them and also beat the child's mom.

If the judge agrees to the sentence, Upchurch will serve at least 85 years.
