Stilwell Man Dies After High Water Sweeps Him Off County Road

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating after a Stilwell man died when they say his vehicle was swept off an Adair County low water bridge Wednesday afternoon.
He is identified as 53-year-old Victor French.
The OHP says the incident happened just after 1 p.m., three miles east of Stilwell.
Their reports states French was eastbound and the water was too high at the time of the incident.
