Several Flights In And Out Of Tulsa Impacted By Atlanta Outage

Travelers needing to get in and out of Tulsa International Airport Monday are facing a logistical nightmare after Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport lost power for almost 11 hours on Sunday.

That outage impacted several  flights in and out of Tulsa.

Officials say the outage affected more than 1,000 flights in Atlanta, leaving some passengers stuck on the tarmac for hours.

Industry experts predict it could take a few days before travel returns to normal in Atlanta, with very few open seats on other flights the week before Christmas.
