OSBI: Attorney Shoots Vinita Coach During Argument

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says an attorney shot a high school coach at a Vinita home Friday night.

The OSBI says Karl Jones, a local attorney, and Jason Sauer, a high school coach, got into a verbal altercation that escalated.

Neighbors said that Sauer is dating the suspects ex-wife.

Sources told News On 6 that Sauer and his girlfriend were in a Vinita home Friday night before Jones arrived.  

That's where agents say Jones shot Sauer several times; Sauer was transported to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition and Jones was arrested for shooting with intent to kill and booked into the Craig County Jail.
