Tulsans Accused Of Stealing More Than $23K In Merchandise

Two people were arrested after a string of thefts from numerous retailers in town. Records show the thefts have been going on for more than a year.

The two people have been arrested in connection with the crimes are Matthew Donahoe and Katina Scott. 

Scott is still in the Tulsa jail Wednesday morning, December 6.

Police say they have more than 30 open charges on Donahoe and Scott they say the two have been committing retail crimes together for more than a year.
 
Together, they've stolen more than $23,000 in merchandise, arrest reports state.

Officers arrested Scott during a traffic stop after realizing she had outstanding warrants. Donahoe was arrested hours later when he drove up to Scott's home while police were present. Authorities say he was driving with without a license, in the truck that had been used in multiple larcenies.

Throughout the year, police say the suspects stole thousands of dollars in merchandise from Tulsa stores including TJ Maxx, Toys R Us, Lowe's and Warehouse Market. 

Police say Donahoe and Scott are known in the Tulsa retail community as serial larceny suspects.

Their first court date is next week.
