Insurance Institute Lists Best Booster Seats To Keep Kids Safe

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety is out with its list of the best booster seats for keeping children safe inside vehicles. A crash test video they released shows how unrestrained children can become projectiles, even in a low speed collision. 
 
Researchers say kids between the ages of 4 and 8 are 45 percent less likely to be injured in a child boost seat than in a seat belt alone. The group tested 16 new boost seat models sold this year and rated 13 of them as best bets - the group's highest rating. 

The IIHS recommends children use booster seats until safety belts fit properly, regardless of their age.
