A stretch of Highway 412 will close just west of downtown Tulsa as Oklahoma Department of Transportation engineers inspect an overpass damaged by a crane.
The 65th West Avenue bridge is closed and has been for nearly a week. Eastbound lanes of Highway 412 just reopened Monday, but ODOT will close the one lane once inspections begin.
A semi was hauling a crane truck didn't clear the overpass last Thursday. The crash bent some of the bridge's beams and caused some concrete to crumble and fall.

Tuesday morning, Oklahoma Department of Transportation engineers will be here to start a full assessment of the damage to help them come up with a plan to repair the bridge.
ODOT is closing the left lane of eastbound traffic on Highway 412 under the 65th West Avenue bridge.
The lane is scheduled to be closed around 9 a.m. and won't reopen until 3 p.m. The 65th West Avenue bridge will remain closed until repairs are made.
