Even as he's dealing with a destroyed house after a fire, Tulsa Police Officer Popsey Floyd took time out Thursday for an event that gives incentive to be good representatives of the community.
About 40 bikes were unloaded out at Tom's Bike Shop near 71st and Peoria.
Kids were assigned a bike, but they can't take them home just yet.

"They'll get a permission slip that says 'Hey I have to meet these standards in school now.' They'll take that back to their principal. That's how we'll use these bikes to focus on some of the bullying we see in school, the bad attitudes, now their teachers will be able to use these bikes as leverage," Floyd said.
A youth group from the Eden Mennonite Church in Inola donated money to buy the bikes.
But they still need helmets.
If you'd like to donate, you can drop them off at the Tulsa Police Department's Riverside Division, 7515 Riverside Parkway.
