A Tahlequah native and her fiancé are missing after traveling to the Bahamas to get married.
The couple left late last month in their own plane for a romantic adventure. Now, their families want answers about their whereabouts.
An island sunrise and the message "good morning beautiful," is one of the last images posted online by Donna Grant and fiancé Forrest Sanco.
"We're just … we just wish we had known sooner that there was an issue. We got a late start because we didn't know what was going on," said sister Sue McDaniel.
Sanco's sisters and niece near Houston first realized something was wrong last week when Sanco didn't return to White Settlement, Texas to care for a pet.
They called Lockheed Martin, where he was an electronics engineer, and learned he never came back to work.
"He's very spontaneous … but he’s very responsible," said Sanco’s sister LaDawna Sanco. “He would have called his work, called his daughter, he would've let someone know that he wasn't going to make it back on time."
Since last week, the family has learned the couple made it to Fort Pierce, Florida and to Freeport in the Bahamas,
They stopped again on North Eleuthera, but there is no sign they ever made it to their final stop, on Rum Cay.
Family members are raising money online for private search teams and getting help from people in the Bahamas, hoping to find some sign of the couple.
"He’s MacGyver for sure. If anybody could come out of this, it would be Forrest. So, we know for a fact he is doing, and has done, everything he could possibly do to make this a happy outcome."
Family members were expecting to get another update Tuesday night from search teams checking the water in between the islands.
The couple applied for a marriage license in the Fort Worth area late last month, but no records show there was ever a ceremony.
