SUV Driver Rear-Ends Tulsa Police Car

Police say an officer escaped injury after his car was rear-ended by an SUV at Tulsa intersection early Wednesday.

They said the officer was waiting for a light on Memorial Drive near the Broken Arrow Expressway just after midnight when the driver of a Chevy Tahoe hit the patrol car.

Police said the Tahoe's driver, who got a ticket, had sideswiped a Jeep just prior to hitting the patrol car.

No one in the Jeep or Tahoe were injured.
