Beautiful weather today, highs in the mid-80s with sunny skies. Winds light out of the south around 5-7 mph today. Tonight, skies will remain clear.
Temperatures will drop into the upper 50s for Monday morning. Hot and wind tomorrow. Highs in the upper 80s with winds around 10 to 20 mph. A strong cold front will arrive tomorrow late in the afternoon and storms will then fire here in eastern Oklahoma.
The atmosphere will be conducive to supporting strong to severe storms. Wind and hail will be the primary threats. Storms will move east overnight. A few lingering showers will be possible Tuesday morning mainly north and east of Tulsa.
The cooler air arrives on Tuesday. Highs will be in the 60s with a strong northwest wind. Wednesday morning will be our coolest morning of next week with lows dropping into the 40s. A few spots, especially valleys drop close to the 30s.
Temperatures will then climb as we approach next weekend. Highs back in the 80s by Thursday. Moisture will be increasing and another storm system could move through around Sunday/Monday of next week.
