A man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound in a Choctaw County home early Tuesday.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation special agents are assisting in the investigation into the man's death.
Shortly after 3 a.m., Choctaw County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a reported shooting in the 500 block of North 4430, the OSBI said in a news release.
Deputies discovered Thomas Brantley Collins, 28, dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
After gathering information and evidence from the scene, agents determined the death was a homicide.
They believe it was the result of a domestic altercation with another person who lived in the house.
No arrest had been made as of Tuesday afternoon.
The District Attorney's Office will determine whether to file charges.
