Women and girls are learning more about being firefighters from other women already doing the job.
Tulsa firefighters held their fourth annual women's camp for those interested in a career in emergency services.
25 campers spent the day doing everything a real cadet would have to do.
19-year-old Ashley Hillman plans to apply as soon as she turns 21.
She talks about what makes her want to be a firefighter.
"The adrenaline rush. You don't ever know what you're going into and that doesn't matter to me. Just as long as I know I will get to my patient and patient will be taken care of as soon as it's in my arms" She said.
If you're interested in camps in the future just follow the TFD Facebook page.
