Police arrested two men after a Tulsa man's body was found early Thursday in the 2000 block of North Yale.
Sgt. Dave Walker says officers got a tip Tuesday, that Anthony Pietrzak, 18, had been beaten, hogtied and thrown into the back of a pickup at a home in the 2800 block of East 42nd Place North.
At that point, they still weren't able to find the body, but it was discovered around 2 a.m. Thursday, September 28 in a field.
Police say they followed several leads to a nearby house and arrested 46-year-old Dearld Peal and 40-year-old Tracy Price Wednesday night on kidnapping complaints.
Walker says Pietrzak's body was eventually located with the help of Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies. He said Peal's daughter was dating the teenager.
Peal told detectives Pietrzak was abusing his daughter, but Pietrzak's family she was assaulting him. Peal said he knew Pietrzak was going to die but said he wasn't there when he was killed.
The victim's family said he and his girlfriend were expecting a baby girl in October.
Both Peal and Price were booked into jail on an additional complaint of first-degree murder
This is Tulsa's 66th homicide of 2017.
