The medical examiner has released the cause of death of a baby boy who was born in May at a Muskogee hospital but did not survive. "Baby Boy Taylor," as he was called by law enforcement, died of Intrauterine Fetal Demise and the ME says the manner of death is an 'accident.'
The Muskogee County DA said Wednesday that contributing factors to the baby's death were placenta abruption and meth exposure.
The DA also said the medical examiner's office was able to locate Baby Boy Taylor's mother, and the DA's office will evaluate the case to see if charges can be filed.
Many became familiar with Baby Boy Taylor in July when multiple officials in Muskogee County came together to give the baby a proper funeral service and burial after no one claimed his body at the medical examiner's office.
