An Owasso woman who is accused in the death of her husband was arrested for driving under the influence over the weekend. Vickie Lou McNeely was booked on a complaint of aggravated DUI after police say she wrecked her car Friday evening, September 22, 2017.

An Owasso officer responded to the crash and said he spoke with both drivers involved. He said McNeely, 74, was unsteady on her feet and showed other signs of drinking. She admitted to having a glass of wine, according to the arrest report.

Police say after she failed a field sobriety test, they took her to the Owasso Jail where both breathalyzer tests registered .15 blood alcohol content, almost twice the legal limit.

McNeely was arrested in 2013 when Owasso Police say she fatally shot her husband, Daniel McNeely. She is charged with first-degree murder in his death and was out on bond at the time of her DUI arrest.

An arrest report in that case said McNeely claims her husband charged her with a knife and tried to kill her.

McNeely was released on a $1,500 bond September 23, 2017. She is due in court for the DUI arrest on September 29, 2017, and the first-degree murder charge on October 27, 2017.
