3,000 people came together in Tulsa Saturday to help raise almost $1 million to fight Alzheimer's disease.

Organizers say Saturday’s "Walk to End Alzheimer's" drew the largest crowd and the highest dollar total in the Walk's history.

The event's fundraising goal was $50,000, but participants raised more than $950,000.

TU football coach Philip Montgomery and his wife Ashli chaired the event which was held at TU.
