The Military History Center in Broken Arrow will hold a flag ceremony Saturday for POWs and MIAs from across the state.

The Memorial Flag Plaza will be held at 11:00am, recognizing heroes for their service and sacrifices.

Vietnam War MIA families will be in attendance as well as POWs from World War II and the Korean War.

The history center and Rolling Thunder Oklahoma will dedicate a memorial to Oklahoma’s Vietnam War MIAs and celebrate the repatriation of the remains of Colonel Martin Scott of Jenks who went missing in Vietnam in 1966.

The event will include patriotic music by former Miss Tulsa Maggie Bond, Broken Arrow High School JROTC cadets, and Patriotic Guard Riders.

Guests can take advantage of free admission to the history center during the event.
