Rogers County Sheriff's Office Employee Arrested For Assault

Rogers County investigators say a court guard with the sheriff's office was arrested and charged with felony assault after he hit a man with a coffee cup. 

Investigators said Steven Rose was at his girlfriend's house in Rogers County this weekend when the woman's ex-husband drove by. Rose then took off after the man and assaulted him with a coffee cup and injured him, investigators said. 

Rose is on administrative leave as RCSO evaluates his job status, RCSO said.
