Oral Roberts University is holding its annual Nanny Fair from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 30 to help connect caregivers and parents in need with students who can help.
The event connects students with local families looking for a nanny or baby sitter - or even house sitter - during the 2017-18 school year. If you're looking for help with an elderly parent or child, you can connect with an available student, a news release states.
The fair is set up as a speed networking event where parents are given 90 seconds to share about their kids and needs. Then students have 90 seconds to tell parents or caregivers about themselves, their qualifications and availability.
“Families always tell us how much they love our students,” said Kelan Henderson ORU Director of Career Services. “The students are trustworthy and that’s what keeps people coming back not just asking for help with childcare but with other needs as well.”
You can register at ORU's Nanny Fair or call 918-495-6912 for more information.
