Bixby Public Schools students head back to school Wednesday morning and the district said they'll roll out some new programs starting on the first day.
A new year brings some new additions for schools district-wide.
The district is introducing a new before and after school child care program called "GO Club."
Elementary and pre-kindergarten kids will take part in physical activity, literacy, STEM and arts activities.
The district said it will be offered at a few of its elementary and intermediate schools.
Over at the high school, the superintendent announced that each 9th grader will receive a Chromebook and software to go with it.
He said a 2016 bond issue was used to pay for the new technology.
