2-Year-Old Who Nearly Drowned In Jay Receiving Experimental Treatment

A 2-year-old boy who nearly drowned this summer in Jay is continuing to recover.

The family said Kasen Sparks is now in New Orleans for an experimental treatment for his brain injury, thanks to the Cherokee Nation ambulance service. 

The family said Kasen nearly drowned on July 22, 2017.

They said he was in a deep coma and showed no signs of brain activity, but three days later he opened his eyes.
