Pryor Avoids Layoffs With Quarter-Cent Sales Tax Approval

Pryor city employees are no longer at risk of losing their jobs.

Voters approved a quarter-cent sales tax that will take effect in October.

Without the sales tax, Pryor was looking at possible layoffs to cut $265,000 from the city's budget.
