Sentencing is scheduled for Thursday for a Tulsa mother and her boyfriend who pleaded guilty to child neglect.
A spokeswoman for the Tulsa County DA told News On 6 prosecutors are ready to move forward in their case against 24-year-old Anna Hyden and 53-year-old Kevin Crawford.
Thursday, the trial was expected to return from a recess by 2 p.m. when closing arguments will begin.
The judge said he expects to make a decision Friday by 1:30 p.m.
The two were arrested in January 2016 after six-month-old Arrow Hyden was found dead in the attic of a shed. She said she left Arrow with Crawford in an unheated shed while she went to get some cigarettes. When she came back she said Arrow wasn't breathing.
Court records show both Hyden and Crawford pleaded guilty earlier this year to the charge.
Police say Hyden admitted to routinely doing meth, including in front of the child.
