Multi-Car Crash Closes I-244 At Memorial

A multi-car crash closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 244 Friday night.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes at Memorial at about 10:00 p.m.

The lanes were re-opened just before 10:30 p.m.

Troopers have not said how the crash happened. Initial reports were that there were no serious injuries.

Reports indicate the crash may have been caused by a wrong-way driver.
