Hours after being lifted, the Beggs mayor has reissued a voluntary and precautionary boil order.
The Department of Environmental Quality said Beggs water customers should bring drinking water to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
This is in effect until DEQ advises otherwise.
Tuesday, Beggs issued the boil order due to high levels of turbidity in Beggs Lake, which is when small particles cause haziness in the water.
Mayor Kathryn Bell said the issues is a result of a valve replacement.
