The University of Tulsa football team will look to build on the success of its 10-3 record from the 2016 campaign when it opens the season on Thursday, August 31, at Oklahoma State.
The team's home opener will be a week later on Saturday, Sept. 9 against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns with a 3:00 p.m. kickoff.
TU will play six home games in 2017 against opponents that each played in a bowl game a year ago.
The program announced that 3-Game Mini-Plan Ticket Packages go on sale this Thursday, June 15, for the 2017 football season.
The Mini-Plan is just one of the options fans can purchase to see the Hurricane football team at a reasonable price in 2017.
The Mini-Plan games include Navy (Sept. 30) on Hall of Fame and Military Appreciation Weekend, Houston (Oct. 14) on Homecoming and against the Memphis Tigers (Nov. 3) on Friday Night Fireworks.
Tickets for the 3-Game Mini-Plan area priced at $40 for End Zone seats, a savings of $2 per game; $80 for Blue Zone seats, a discount of $4 per game; and the Gold seating on the East side of the stadium for $105, a savings of $5 per game.
Full Season ticket packages are still available for the entire six-game season, as prices range from $78 to $210. The $78 end zone seat averages to only $13 per game for the 2017 campaign. Blue Zone season tickets (bench seats on east and west side) are priced at $150, and Gold Zone season packages (chair back east and west side), are priced at $210. A limited number of Platinum level season tickets, priced at $270, are still available.
Families can purchase the Mazzio's Family Fun Zone Ticket Plan, including two adults and two children, for only $195, which amounts to just $48.75 per family member for the six-game schedule.
