A David L. Moss detention officer was arrested Friday on sexual battery charges after multiple inmates said he touched them inappropriately, according to the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.

TCSO deputies arrested Rickardo Williams at 11 a.m. on June 2, 2017, TCSO wrote in a news release.

Williams has been on unpaid leave since May 22, 2017, when TCSO conducted an investigation into claims by three inmates said he'd made inappropriate comments to them and inappropriately touched them multiple times, according to Williams' arrest and booking report.

TCSO turned the findings over to the Tulsa County District Attorney's office and prosecutors filed charges against Williams.

Williams has been a detention officer since March 1, 2017.
