Claremore Police have made an arrest in a road rage shooting. They arrested Logan Earl Riherd Wednesday morning, May 31.
He was booked on felony complaints of assault with a deadly weapon (two counts) and use of a vehicle in the discharge of a firearm.
Police said a vehicle leaving the McDonald’s parking lot near Country Club Road and Route 66 was riddled with bullet holes after a man on a motorcycle shot at the vehicle, Monday, May 29.
According to an affidavit, Riherd told police he was involved in a road rage incident while he was a passenger in a car. He went home, got a handgun, got on his motorcycle and went to the place he knew the victims would be, court records show.

Authorities said Riherd admitted that he drove up next to the victims and shot into the hood of their car three or four times.
"Riherd said he was on his motorcycle at the time of the shooting and that he did not intent to kill the victims," the affidavit states.
Police said no one was injured.
Officers located evidence related to the shooting including the pistol and ammunition they believe Riherd used, according to Chief of Police Stan Brown.
Police looked at surveillance footage from local businesses and created a tip line to catch the alleged shooter.
