A Green Country Cross Fit group joined people from all over the country in honoring a fallen Navy Seal.
Cross Fit Heavy Seal in Owasso participated in the Murph Challenge on Sunday in honor of Micheal P. Murphy who died at the hands of Taliban fighters in Afghanistan in 2005.
The challenge consists of two one-mile runs, 100 pull-ups, 200 pushups and 300 air squats.
But this group said it's not about the workout.
"It's just a time to reflect. The workout is intended to be difficult because what our men and women go through in the service is difficult // it's a great way for us to share just a small piece of that around memorial day," said Cross Fit Heavy Seal Member Jimmy Nichols.
The annual tradition also raises money for the Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation.
