Tulsa County Special Judge David Youll was fired Friday, according to sources at the courthouse.
A woman who answered the phone in the chambers of Presiding Judge Rebecca Nightingale said any information about what happened would have to be released by Judge Nightingale. However, the woman said Judge Nightingale has no plans to release a statement. But multiple sources tell News On 6 the judge was fired.
As a special judge, Judge Youll handled misdemeanor cases for Tulsa County.
According to his LinkedIn page, Judge Youll became a special judge in 2003 where he also handled felony preliminary hearings. His page says his previous assignments were Veterans Treatment Court and Family Domestic Division.
He was a prosecutor in the Tulsa County District Attorney's office from 1996 to 2003 and a public defender from 1992 to 1995, according to his page.
He retired from the Missouri Army National Guard in 2005.
Sources tell News On 6 Youll was fired, but the court administrator said he resigned.
