Police say five armed men forced their way into a Tulsa apartment early Friday, assaulting and robbing the residents.

The call came in from the Sierra Pointe Apartments in the 1300 block of South 107th East Avenue near Highway 169 just after 4:30 a.m.

Officers said when the men made it inside the apartment and one of the robbers beat up a resident.  That person went to the hospital with minor injuries.

The robbers stole money and then took off.

Police say the victims were shaken up after the robbery.

"I'm sure it's very traumatizing to have five people you don't know or expect to be here come in your house, especially at 4:30 in the morning," said Cpl. Billy White.

Police believe they know the identity of two of the robbers, but have been unable to locate them.
