A Tulsa business owner is asking for the community’s help to fight back against a man he claims has been burglarizing his property for years.
AMP Equipment CEO Brian Blagowsky spent Tuesday afternoon repairing his business's fence after someone broke into his property, again.
"He had cut out about two strands of the wire that held the fence line together here," he said.
Since Blagowsky opened his business 11 years ago, he said his property has been burglarized countless times.
"We've lost monetarily, you know, tens of thousands of dollars in equipment," he said.
Blagowsky suspects just one man is responsible.
"We feel it's the same guy that keeps coming back and he's working an area, and he knows this area very well," he said.
With each break in, Blagowsky added more security to his property.
"We finally ended up putting in a security surveillance system with a number of different video cameras,” he said. “And we finally think we caught the serial bugler."
Around 9:00 Saturday night, a man grabbed a lawn mower and paused just long enough for the camera to catch him.
Blagowsky said the suspect broke through his fence Saturday night to get onto the property.
The suspect ended up getting away with two mowers and video equipment, but it's the property damage Blagowsky is dealing with.
“The window he smashed out is gonna be $500 to replace," he said.
Blagowsky said Tulsa Police increased their presence in the area, but he still needs the community's help to identify the man.
"Hopefully, somebody out there is gonna recognize this guy and he's gonna get caught," he said.
Blagowsky said the company has plans to install even more security cameras on the property.
