A community is coming together Monday afternoon to honor fallen Logan County Deputy David Wade. Governor Mary Fallin announced that flags will be flown at half-staff April 24, 2017, to honor Wade who was killed in the line of duty.
The funeral for Wade will take place at 1 p.m. at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie. Wade was shot and killed Tuesday, April 18 while serving an eviction notice.

Wade is Logan County's first law enforcement officer to die in the line of duty. Wade, an Army veteran, leaves behind a wife and three children.
Nathan LeForce is in jail charged with Wade's murder.
