The Tulsa-USF football game, originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18, has been moved to Thursday, Nov. 16, in Tampa, Fla., at Raymond James Stadium. The American Athletic Conference game will be televised on ESPN. The game time has not yet been set.
Both teams are coming off of seasons with double-digit victories and wins in their respective bowl games. USF posted an overall 11-2 record and 7-1 mark, while Tulsa finished with a 10-3 mark and 6-2 league record.
The Bulls, under the direction of first-year head coach Charlie Strong, returns The American's Offensive Player of the Year in the like of quarterback Quinton Flowers.
Tulsa returns 14 starters, including seven on an offense that rushed for a school record 300 yards in eight games in 2016. Tulsa's defense has six starters returning to a unit that forced 21 turnovers that led to 101 points for the Hurricane in 2016.
It was also announced the Tulsa home game vs. Memphis on Friday, Nov. 3, will be carried on ESPN2.
