Tulsa Police Searching For Robbery Suspect Who Pistol-Whipped Employees

Tulsa Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect after the assault of two employees at a Family Dollar near 41st and Southwest Boulevard.

TPD said a man confronted an employee taking out the trash and pistol-whipped and punched her while demanding money.

Police said the other employee was worried and went to check on her and was also assaulted by the suspect.

A K9 unit tracked the suspect's trail for a while but eventually lost the scent.

One of the victims had to be taken to a hospital but is expected to be okay.
