Meeting At Tulsa Hotel Room Ends With Robbery

Police officers are looking through surveillance video after they say a man broke into a hotel and fired a rifle. 

This investigation stems from the Econolodge over at the Broken Arrow Expressway and Interstate 44 interchange. Fortunately police say no was hurt when the rifle went off in the hotel room.

Around 2 a.m., a man told police he was meeting a woman he knew as "Brittney" in the room. Shortly after she arrived, police say a man armed with a rifle kicked in the door and started assaulting the man in the room.

There was a fight over the rifle, and eventually a shot was fired. The armed man and Brittney both left - police say she took the victim's wallet.

Police say there is surveillance video, and they are looking at it.
