Tulsa Police Investigate Shooting That Wounded One Man

Tulsa police said a man was shot in the shoulder early Sunday morning, December 11, 2016. The man told officers he was walking through the St. Thomas Square Apartments near 61st and Peoria and heard gunshots.

"He took off running and later realized he had been shot," records show.

The victim was waiting on the curb for officers when they got the 6300 block of South Owasso. He said he has no enemies and no idea why he would be shot, police said.

EMSA took the wounded man to the hospital, and police are investigating.
