PSO has restored power after an outage in the Coweta area Thursday morning impacted 2,400 customers.
Coweta Police say Public Service Company of Oklahoma was notified of the outage and the utility worked to restore service.
PSO said the cause of the outage was a failed transformer in Oneta.
The police department had asked customers to call PSO and not the E-911 center during the outage, because its officers were assisting OHP with a accident on the Muskogee Turnpike.
