Some green country high school students are putting their education into action and helping families in need for the holidays.
The Union Bikes for Kids program takes donated bikes of all sizes, shapes and conditions.
Manufacturing and Automotive students then refurbish the bikes so they can be given to families in need.
On top of helping folks out, they said it is great learning tool for the students.
"So that we could help our students put hands-on training with the training that they're getting in class, and utilize their critical thinking skills we are teaching them," said Don Crall, Manufacturing Instructor.
If you want to help out and donate an old bike, you can do so at Union High school Mondays and Tuesdays between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. through the end of the month.
