Runners are converging on downtown Tulsa for this weekend's Williams Route 66 Marathon as they pick up their race packets and t-shirts.
Thousands of runners are headed to the Cox Business Center for the marathon's Health and Fitness Expo.
Williams Route 66 Marathon organizers say 12,000 people are registered to run this weekend.
Vendors are at the Health and Fitness Expo, selling a variety of products geared for runners and providing health information.
One runner, Geri Lynn Arrindell from St. Louis, Missouri says the Williams Route 66 Marathon is her first marathon. She says he can't think of a better city than Tulsa to run in her first race because of the hospitality and the Expo.
"I've already texted my husband. They're coming in tonight and said 'Get to the Expo!' This is a really large expo a lot of information that I'm interested in gathering and exploring. As soon as I get my bibs I'll be heading back to the beginning and hitting every Expo station. I love the Expo," said Geri Lynn Arrindell.
The Health and Fitness Expo at the Cox Business Center is also open Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Organizers say you don't have to be a runner in the marathon to check it out.
