We are feeling the big change in our weather conditions thanks to a stout cold front that moved through Friday morning.
Winds will remain breezy this afternoon out of the northwest with wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour possible.
Highs for Friday occurred at midnight when temperatures were in the low 70s. Friday afternoon, temperatures will stay in the 50s. High pressure will be moving in over the course of today.
With light winds and clear skies tonight, temperatures will fall to below freezing.
This will be our first widespread freeze and first freeze in Tulsa.
When freezing temperatures are upon us, make sure small pets are brought inside. If you have outdoor pets, they need a warm and dry shelter. Do not forget fresh food and water.
When it comes to plants, potted plants will need to be covered or brought inside. It would be best to cover small trees and other sensitive vegetation.
We are threatened with freezing temperatures both Saturday morning and Sunday morning.
