Three more flu cases have been officially confirmed in Oklahoma according to state health officials.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health says while there has been no deaths reported due to the flu, 21 people have now been hospitalized because of the illness since the flu season began in October.
The OSDH says the latest numbers shows that even with the mild fall weather, the number of flu hospitalizations are continuing to climb.
Last week, the department reported 18 hospitalizations in 11 counties. This week, the OSDH says there are now 21 cases in eleven counties.
