One Arrested After Stolen Tulsa Pickup Chase

Tulsa County Sheriff deputies arrested a woman following a stolen pickup chase in early Tuesday.

She was identified as 30-year-old Shanna Springwater.  

Deputies said the chase began when they tried to stop the truck at 46th Street North and Lewis for an equipment violation.  It ended when the driver pulled into an apartment complex at 36th Street North and Peoria, got out and ran. 

Springwater and another passenger were left behind.  Shanna Springwater was arrested and taken to jail on an unrelated felony drug warrant out of Cherokee County.

Deputies said a check determined the pickup had been stolen.

They said a search for the driver with K-9 officers was unsuccessful.
