Driver Tells Police He Was Shot While Driving In Tulsa

A teenager was taken to the hospital after he told police he was shot while driving Monday afternoon.

Police say in happened around 4:00 p.m. near 11th Street where a 15-year-old boy was driving a truck.

He told police the window was open and someone in another vehicle fired at him and hit him in the upper torso. Police said they found the bullet in the seat of the truck.

The teen was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.

Police said he was able to describe the vehicle and the person who shot him.

They say the teen didn't seem to know why the person shot him. Police said they aren't sure if it was road rage, a random shooting or targeted.
